City of Springfield Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the City Council of City of Springfield, passed on July 28, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of: Shall the City of Springfield have the authority to aggregate the retail natural gas loads located in the City of Springfield, and for that purpose, enter into service agreements to facilitate for those loads the sale and purchase of natural gas, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out? The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Precincts affected: City 1 thru City 27, T-5, split 2 only, T-7, split 2, and T-8, split 2 only. 10-23/2026
