German Township (excluding the Village of Tremont City) Renewal Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of German Township (excluding the Village of Tremont City), passed on July 17, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of German Township (excluding the Village of Tremont City) for the purpose of operating and maintaining the fire and ems department that the county auditor estimates will collect $240000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years.
