HAMILTON HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT (FERC NO. 2724) PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Regulation 18 CFR 16.8(b)(3)(i), the City of Hamilton, Ohio (City), Licensee for the existing Hamilton Hydroelectric Project (Project), will hold a site visit and two meetings regarding Project relicensing on Tuesday September 29, 2026: The site visit will start at the Project powerhouse entrance gate (near the LJ Smith Park ballfields, 700 Joe Nuxhall Boulevard, Hamilton, Ohio 45011). Please be aware that the powerhouse has no accessible entrance and no restroom facilities. The site visit will begin at 9:30 am (Eastern Daylight Time, EDT) and conclude at approximately 11:00 am EDT. The joint resource agency and public meetings will be conducted from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm EDT, and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm EDT; at the Warehouse Hotel at Champion Mill, 600 North B Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. The first meeting is intended primarily for resource agency staff. The second meeting is intended primarily for the public. The proposed agenda for the joint resource agency and public meetings is as follows: 1) Introductions; 2) Overview of Project and Meeting Purposes; 3) Review of FERC Licensing Process & Schedule; 4) Review of Existing Information, Ongoing Project Impacts, and Preliminary Licensee Proposed Protection, Mitigation, and Enhancement (PM&E) Measures; 5) Discussion of Potential Information Needs and Preliminary Proposed Study Plans; 6) Questions and Comments; and 7) Wrap Up & Meeting Adjourn. The City requests that those who plan to attend the site visit or meeting(s) confirm their attendance no later than September 22.
