In-person and Virtual Public Meetings to be held regarding the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan Update The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) will hold an in-person and virtual Public Participation Meeting regarding the DRAFT list of transportation projects and strategies for the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan Update. The Long Range Transportation Plan is a long-range (20+ year) strategy and capital improvement program developed to guide the effective investment of public funds in multi-modal transportation facilities. The plan is updated every five years and is prepared by MVRPC in its capacity as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in cooperation with local and state officials, and other coordinating agencies. The MPO area includes Greene, Miami, Montgomery, and northern Warren counties.
