INVITATION TO BID LEGAL NOTICE Sealed BIDS for the contract to construct the Davidson Woods MetroPark Access Improvements (2026-001) will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners located at 2051 Timberman Road, Hamilton, OH 45013, via BidExpress service (www.BidExpress.com/ businesses/65146/home), until 2:00 P.M. (local time) on April 30th, 2026, and via BidExpress, publicly opened and read aloud. Paper Bids and Bids submitted via e-mail will not be considered for the bid request. The project is described as follows: The Project components consist of the construction of a paved access drive at 1200 Hogue Road in Hamilton, Ohio traversing north from Hogue Road; a paved parking area that includes ADA accessible parking; improvements / repairs to the existing gravel drive beyond the paved parking area; connective pedestrian walkways; and other support areas that will have features prepared/built by others (kiosks and portable restroom enclosures). The gravel drive is in need of drainage modifications and storm water improvement evaluation to alleviate / minimize surface water washouts. Overall restoration and planting is not included in this contract award. The project area is currently not open to the public and will not be open to the public until project completion. An OPTIONAL pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site, Davison Woods MetroPark, which is not open to the public, at 1200 Hogue Road in Hamilton, Ohio 45013, on April 16th at 10 a.m. (local time) and on April 16th, 2026 at 1 p.m. Meeting minutes will not be recorded or distributed. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its Bid a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Board of Park Commissioners intends to award a contract to the best value bidder whose Bid is submitted in accordance with the requirements of these bidding documents. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial bid irregularities. This is a prevailing wage project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best combined bid is in excess of 20% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost.
