INVITATION TO BID LEGAL NOTICE Sealed BIDS for the contract for Installation of a Prefabricated Truss Bridge for the Greater Miami River Multi-Purpose Trail (Bid No. 2026-002) will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners at 1976 Timberman Road, Hamilton, OH 45013 until 2:00 P.M. (LOCAL TIME) on June 4, 2026 via BidExpress service (www.BidExpress.com/businesses/65146/home) opened, and read aloud. Paper Bids and Bids submitted via e-mail will not be considered for the bid request. The project is described as follows: Assist coordinating and accepting delivery of bridge components at the project site; then, assemble and install a prefabricated weathered steel truss bridge approximately 148 feet long by 14 feet wide per project specifications along with associated abutments with connective rigid surfacing consisting of concrete and asphalt. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are available for viewing electronically free of charge using the following website https://www.yourmetroparks. net/about/rfps-and-bid-opportunities. MANDATORY pre-bid meetings will be held at the project site, Bicentennial Commons, 250 Jerry Couch Boulevard, Hamilton, OH 45011, on May 26th, 2026 at 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (local time) and May 28th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. (local time). Bidders must have a representative present at one of the meetings and signed-in to be eligible to bid. Meeting minutes will not be recorded or distributed. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Such Bid Guaranty shall be in the form of either a bond, secured by a corporate surety, in the amount of 100% of the bid amount; or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to MetroParks of Butler County, in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Board intends to award a contract to the best value bidder submitted in accordance with the requirements of these bidding documents with prioritization of the installation schedule. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best combined bid is in excess of 20% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost.
