LEGAL AD AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS CONTRACT NO. 2026-02M The Board of County Commissioners, Butler County, Ohio, invites the submission of SEALED BIDS for furnishing the labor, materials and equipment for the Traffic Signal Maintenance project. All bids shall be submitted in writing to the Butler County Engineer on paper at 1921 Fairgrove Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011-1965. Bidder is solely responsible for complying with the technical requirements for submitting a bid on paper. All SEALED PAPER BIDS must be received by the Butler County Engineer not later than 10:30 a.m. local time on Thursday, October 30, 2025. All timely received SEALED BIDS will be publicly opened at approximately 10:45 a.m. on that date in the Main Conference Room at the Butler County Engineer's Office, 1921 Fairgrove Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011-1965. All bids will be available for public inspection within a reasonable time after being opened by the Butler County Engineer. Copies of the plans, specifications and proposal forms, together with any further information desired, may be obtained by contacting the Butler County Engineer's Office, (http://www.bceo.org/contracts.html), 1921 Fairgrove Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. There will be NO CHARGE for the documents. The contractor will be responsible for postage if mailed. Postage is nonrefundable In accordance with Section 153.54, of the Ohio Revised Code, each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of EITHER (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Ohio as surety, OR (2) a certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Each bid guaranty shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, Butler County, Ohio. A bond provided as the bid guaranty may be submitted in paper form bearing the original signatures of the principal and surety. The Board of County Commissioners, Butler County, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
