LEGAL AD AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS ITB No. DEV-2026-05-01 Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Butler County Commissioners, Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, 6th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 until 10:30 A.M. local time on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 and will be opened and read aloud at 10:45 A.M. local time or shortly thereafter in the Commissioners' Chamber on the 2nd Floor in the Butler County Government Services Center, in accordance with specifications under Butler County ITB No. DEV-2026-05-01, for the following work at Butler County Regional Airport - Hogan Field: Rehabilitate Taxiway Lighting. Bidding Documents may be obtained by query at bids.bcohio.gov. To access the ITB packet on the Butler County Board of Commissioners website, please scroll down until the project is found: Rehabilitate Taxiway Lighting, ITB No. DEV-2026-05-01. Each bidder shall submit with bid, a bid bond in satisfactory form in favor of the County in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid or a certified or cashier check on a solvent bank in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount. A contract bond may be required for the project. The bidder may provide a combination bid guaranty and contract bond, which is in statutory compliance with the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders are required to complete and submit with bid ALL Project Bid forms that are included with the specifications packet. Bidders are required to use the forms furnished by the County when submitting their bid. The bidder will be required to state in full detail, in their bid, their experience in this class of work. Bids from contractors inexperienced in this particular class of work will not be considered. Work will be subject to the following federal requirements included in the Special Contract Provisions: Civil Rights: General; Civil Rights: Title VI Assurances; Domestic Preferences for Procurement; Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (Federal Minimum Wage); Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1970; and Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment; along with the Safety and General Construction Requirements. Additional information on applicability of these regulations is contained in the Contract Documents. Attention of the bidder is called to the statutory requirements of the State of Ohio relative to licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state. Title VI Solicitation Notice. The Butler County Board of Commissioners, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. § 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, all businesses will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The right is reserved by the County, for any reason, to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best bid, and to hold bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the bids and bidders. Notwithstanding the County's sole discretion to reject or waive any or all bids, causes for bid rejection may be assigned to any one or more listed in the Information to Bidders, Par. 7 in the Contract Documents. Award of work, if it is awarded, will be made to the lowest and best bidder based on the total combined bid for all sections that are awarded grant funding, and whose bid complies with all requirements prescribed. The right is reserved to waive any informalities or technical defects, as the interests of the Butler County Commissioners may require, or to reject any or all bids.
