LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT 1.1 SEALED BIDS will be received by the City of Trenton, Ohio until 10:00 a.m., (local time) on Tuesday, AUGUST 11, 2026 in the Court Room at the City Building, 11 East State Street, Trenton, Ohio 45067-1439, and publicly opened and read at that hour and place. Any bids received after this time will be returned to the bidder unopened. 1.2 SCOPE OF WORK to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of replacing 63 water service lines from the main to new meter pits, milling 4-1/2" of existing asphalt and base and resurfacing with 3" of asphalt base and 1½" of asphalt surface course on North First Street, North Second Street, Rosa Place and Union Street in Trenton, Ohio. The Engineer's opinion of construction cost of the work is $933,000.00. 1.3 THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENT shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. 1.6 EACH BID PROPOSAL must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.
