LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT 1.1 SEALED BIDS will be received by the City of Trenton, Ohio until 11:00 a.m., (local time) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the Court Room at the City Building, 11 East State Street, Trenton, Ohio 45067-1439, and publicly opened and read at that hour and place. Any bids received after this time will be returned to the bidder unopened. 1.2 SCOPE OF WORK to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for construction of new roadways for the project identified as Trenton Square Collector Roads, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications provide by the Engineer. Base bid work includes All work associated with the construction of new roadways, including water main, storm and sanitary sewers, utility cross overs and temporary sedimentation basins. 1.3 THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENT shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. The City of Trenton also reserves the right to hold all proposals for sixty (60) days. 1.4 PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS which include additional details of the Project, are on file and available from www.questcdn.com. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory. 1.6 EACH BIDDER is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty (10% of the Bid Amount) and Contract Bond (100% of the Bid Amount) in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond for shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. 1.7 EACH BID PROPOSAL must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.
