LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT 1.1 SEALED BIDS will be received by the City of Trenton, Ohio until 10:00 a.m., (local time) on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the Court Room at the City Building, 11 East State Street, Trenton, Ohio 45067-1439, and publicly opened and read at that hour and place. Any bids received after this time will be returned to the bidder unopened. 1.2 SCOPE OF WORK to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for construction of a right turn lane on SR 73 at the intersection of Edgewood Drive, construction of a right turn lane on Wayne Madison Road at SR 73 and the replacement of the curb and trench drain west of Edgewood Drive and associated improvements including the addition and/or modification of storm sewers, pavement markings and signage. The Engineer's opinion of construction cost is $1,148,281. 1.3 THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENT shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. Bid security furnished in Bond for shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. 1.6 EACH BID PROPOSAL must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein.
