LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given of a public hearing before the Monroe City Council on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers, 233 South Main Street, Monroe, Ohio. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the creation of a Tax Increment Financing ("TIF") Incentive District under Ohio Revised Code Section 5709.40(C). If approved, the proposed Ordinance would establish the Incentive District and authorize a 100% exemption from real property taxation on the increase in assessed valuation of improvements to Parcel No. D7000011000005, located at Kyles Station Road and Butler Warren Road, for a period of up to 30 years. Property owners will continue to be responsible for taxes on the existing assessed value of the parcel. The public may appear at the public hearing, be heard, and submit evidence and written comments with respect to the Ordinance. Monroe will provide assistance to persons with disabilities, needing interpreters, other auxiliary aids, and services in order to participate in this meeting. Any request for such assistance must be made no later than 72 hours in advance of the meeting by contacting the Clerk of Council at 513-539-7374.
