LEGAL NOTICE OF CITY OF HAMILTON, OHIO Electronic bids will be received through Bid Express by the City of Hamilton, Ohio ("Owner"), until 2:00 pm, local time, December 2, 2025, at which time bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter at 345 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 for furnishing of all necessary permits, labor, material, and services necessary for: BUT-Belle Ave-Reconfiguration, PID 118646 (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by Burgess & Niple, Inc. (Design Professional") and the City of Hamilton Engineering Department. Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). In general, the improvements for which bids are requested will consist of the following: Intersection reconfiguration of Belle Ave at Dixie Highway and S. Erie Blvd Reconstruction of Belle Ave. between RR and Dixie Highway Water main replacement from Belle Ave across S. Erie Blvd This project includes grant funding of $350,000.00 that must be invoiced by the Contractor prior to February 27, 2026. A construction start date of January 5, 2026, will be targeted to provide as much time as possible to meet this date. In addition, shop drawings for all traffic control items should be submitted as early as possible to avoid project completion delays related to long lead times. All Bidders shall be prequalified by ODOT for the appropriate type of work. Prequalification must be in place at bidding, award and throughout the life of the contract. The award for this project will be determined based upon the lowest base bid. Alternates and Add Alternates will not be utilized in the determination of the apparent low bidder. The electronic bids can only be submitted through Bid Express and must be electronically endorsed by the Bidder.
