Mad River Township (including the Village of Enon) Renewal Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Mad River Township (including the Village of Enon), passed on February 2, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Mad River Township (including the Village of Enon) for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefore and providing protection against fire that the county auditor estimates will collect $189,561.00 annually, at a rate not exceeding .8 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Precincts affected: MR - 1 thru MR - 6, ENON 1 & ENON 2 4-21,4-28/2026
