Moorefield Township Renewal Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Moorefield Township, passed on May 27, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Moorefield Township for the purpose of operating and equipping the fire department and emergency medical program that the county auditor estimates will collect $295000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.25 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $44 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Precincts affected: MFLD 1 thru MFLD 9 10-20,10-27/2025
