Notice is hereby given that the New Carlisle City Council will hold special meetings/work sessions on 10/13/26, 10/15/26 and 10/20/26 to discuss the City's 2027 budget. At the 10/20 meeting, Council will also interview and consider appointments to City Council and the Social Services Commission, and conduct a Council workshop. At the 10/13 meeting, Council will also consider the passage of Resolution 2026-32R - A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AMOUNTS AND RATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZING THE NECESSARY TAX LEVIES AND CERTIFYING THEM TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR, and Ordinance 2026-39E - AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS CONTAINED IN NEW CARLISLE CITY ORDINANCE 2025-48, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, and consider the employment and compensation of public employees.
