NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an ordinance passed on July 21, 2026, by the Council of the City of Brookville, Montgomery County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the General Election to be held on November 3, 2026, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: The City of Brookville proposes amending the following Brookville City Charter Sections: Preamble, Section 1.01 Name and Boundary, Section 2.01 Powers Granted, Section 2.03 Construction of Powers, Section 2.04 Intergovernmental Cooperation, Section 3.01 Term of Office, Section 3.02 Powers; Duties; Functions, Section 3.03 Qualifications of Council Members, Section 3.04 Vacancies in Council, Section 3.06 Compensation of Council Members, Section 3.07 Council Organization and Rules; Meetings of Council, Section 3.08 Mayor; Vice Mayor and Section 3.09 Clerk of Council. Shall the proposed charter amendments, as reported by the charter commission of the City of Brookville be adopted? The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day.
