NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an ordinance passed on July 21, 2026 by the Council of the City of Brookville, Montgomery County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the General Election to be held on November 3, 2026, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: The City of Brookville proposes amending the following Brookville City Charter Sections: Section 7.01 Planning Commission, Section 7.02 Board of Zoning Appeals, Section 7.03 Civil Service, Section 7.04 Board of Park Trustees, Section 7.05 Board of Tax Appeals, Section 7.07 Organization; Vacancies, Section 8.01 General, Section 8.02 Contracts, Section 8.03 Conflicts of Interest, Section 9.01 Nominations, Section 9.03 Public Information on Issues, Section 12.01 Effective Date of Charter, Section 12.02 Continuance of Present Officials; Abolition of Offices and Section 12.03 Continuance of Present Employees. Shall the proposed charter amendments, as reported by the charter commission of the City of Brookville be adopted? The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day.
