NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an ordinance passed on July 21, 2026 by the Council of the City of Brookville, Montgomery County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the General Election to be held on November 3, 2026, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: The City of Brookville proposes amending the following Brookville City Charter Sections: Section 10.01 Initiative, Section 10.02 Referendum, Section 10.03 Recall, Section 11.01 Oath of Office, Section 11.02 Removal from Office, Section 11.03 Succession, Section 11.04 Effect of Charter on Existing Laws and Rights, Section 11.05 Retirement Systems, Section 11.06 Amendment or Repeal of Charter and Section 11.07 Effect of Partial Invalidity. Shall the proposed charter amendments, as reported by the charter commission of the City of Brookville be adopted? The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day.
