Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Butler County of Butler County, Ohio, passed on the 21st day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax of 1 mills for the benefit of Butler County for the purpose of operating mental health service programs and maintaining and operating mental health facilities by the Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services Board at a rate not exceeding 1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $20 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $8,462,958. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
