NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing for informational purposes relative to the 2027 Entitlement Program of Butler County will be held on August 11, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., located in the Commissioner's Chambers on the Second floor of the Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio. This public hearing will address the commencement of the 2027 Program Year of the Entitlement Program of Butler County. The 2027 Entitlement allocation has yet to be determined, however, it is expected to be approximately $2 million dollars. HOME funds are received under the Butler County / City of Middletown Consortium, benefiting the residents of both Butler County and the City of Middletown. The objectives of the CDBG and HOME Programs include the revitalization, preservation, and redevelopment of neighborhoods, the rehabilitation of residences, stimulating economic development, and providing public improvements, which principally benefit persons of low and moderate income. The public hearing will be held to provide an overview of the programs, provide application information, and provide a timeline for implementation of projects. Butler County will provide assistance to persons with disabilities needing interpreters or other auxiliary aids and services in order to participate in this hearing.
