NOTICE TO PROPOSERS Sealed Proposals for the Miami County Sheriff's Office Inmate Food Service Contract will be received by the Miami County Commissioners at their office located at 201 W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373, Safety Building, until Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 1:35p.m., at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Commissioners' Hearing Room. Proposals will not be accepted after this date and time. The Proposal Documents may be obtained by contacting Dawn Thomas, Miami County Sheriff's Office, at thomas.dawn@miamicountyso.com. All written requests must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026 to Dawn Thomas. There is a mandatory pre-proposal conference at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026. The pre-proposal conference will be held at the Miami County Incarceration Facility, 2042 North County Road 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373. All such questions will be answered in writing by the County by 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026. All such questions and answers will become addenda to this RFP, and will be posted to the Miami County website, www.miamicountyohio.gov. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, waive irregularities in any Proposal, and to select the best Proposal in their sole judgment. Sealed Proposals shall be addressed to the Miami County Commissioners and shall arrive or be delivered to their office on or before the above stated time and date. Proposals shall be marked, "SHERIFF'S INMATE FOOD SERVICE PROPOSAL" and include the Proposer's name and address. Sealed Proposals must contain an original and two copies of the Proposal submission.
