PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT The Board of Miami County Commissioners, through its Sanitary Engineering Department, intends to contract for Marketing and Communications services in connection with the Miami County Solid Waste District and is requesting quotes from qualified firms. Firms interested in being considered for this contract should submit one (1) copy of a sealed Proposal no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 2, 2026. Quotes received after this deadline will not be considered. Quotes should include information regarding the firm's background and experience; qualifications of key personnel; demonstrated experience providing marketing and communications services for public sector clients or solid waste districts; proposed approach and methodology; availability of staff; examples of relevant work; references; and any previous work performed for the Board of Miami County Commissioners. All quotes must be submitted in two formats: (1) One (1) printed copy mailed or delivered to Miami County Sanitary Engineering Office, Attn: Emily Walker, 2200 North County Road 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373; and (2) One (1) electronic copy emailed to ewalker@miamicountyohio.gov Quotes will be evaluated based on criteria outlined in the Request for Quotes, including qualifications, experience, proposed approach, and demonstrated ability to perform the required services. Following the evaluation process, the Board of Miami County Commissioners will enter into contract negotiations with the firm determined to be the most responsive and responsible proposer. The preliminary project description is as follows: Name of Project - Marketing and Communications Services for the Miami County Solid Waste District Location - Miami County, Ohio Description - Provision of marketing, outreach, and communication services to support Solid Waste District programs, including but not limited to public education initiatives, website support, social media management, advertising, graphic design, and promotional campaigns. Estimated Contract Term - Anticipated one (1) year contract with options of 1 year renewal upon mutual agreement and approval Source of Funding - Local (Miami County Solid Waste District) Project Schedule - Contract start date April 25, 2026 2-8/2026
