PUBLIC NOTICE Former Gentile Air Force Station Open House - 16 October 2026, 5-7 pm The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is hosting an open house to share information about private drinking water well sampling activities and environmental investigations planned around the former Gentile Air Force Station, Ohio. A presentation will start at 6 p.m., and the Air Force team will be available starting at 5 p.m. to share information and answer questions. Location: Kettering Recreation Complex multipurpose room 2900 Glengarry Drive, Kettering, OH 45420 During the meeting, Air Force officials will provide information regarding plans and approach to private drinking water well sampling to assess whether per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are impacting groundwater used as drinking water around the former installation.
