PUBLIC NOTICE WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB PUBLIC COMMENT AND PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT for a NO ACTION PROPOSED PLAN For the BUILDING 30013 SUMP PIT AREA SITE The United States Department of the Air Force announces a public comment period for the No Action Proposed Plan for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The Proposed Plan identifies the Preferred Alternative of no action at the Building 30013 Sump Pit Area (LF512). Soil at the site does not present an unacceptable risk to human health or the environment and meets the criteria for unlimited use/unrestricted exposure. The Proposed Plan and related documents are available for public review through the site Administrative Record at the website address: https://ar.cce.af.mil/ To ensure that the community's concerns are addressed a public comment period has been established for October 1 through October 30, 2025. During this time the public is encouraged to submit comments on the Proposed Plan. A public meeting will be held in person at the Twin Base Golf Club on October 6, 2025, at 6:00 pm to present the Proposed Plan and take public comments. Written comments on the Proposed Plan can be mailed to 88 ABW/Public Affairs, 5135 Pearson Road, Building 10, Room 252, WPAFB, OH 45433. Written comments must be postmarked no later than October 30, 2025. The DAF encourages the public to review the PP and supporting documentation on which decisions have been based to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the site.
