Pursuant to ORC 6119.10, Southwest Regional Water District, a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, will receive sealed bids at 3640 Old Oxford Rd, Hamilton, Ohio, 45013, until 11:00am local time on Tuesday April 21, 2026, for the project known as ST RT-503 NEW WATER MAIN FROM ST RT-73 TO TOLBERT ROAD-PROJECT #25304, and then publicly opened and read aloud. The bidding documents may be obtained from Neil Bond at bondn@swwater.org. SWRWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Project is to provide material, labor, and equipment to install 11,200-ft of 16", and 80' of 8" Ductile Iron pipe, along with three bores, tie into 8", and 16" PVC pipe, along with restoring the ground to its original condition as required by the project specifications in Wayne Township; Butler County, Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the ORC. Such bid guaranty shall be in the form of either a 100% bond or a cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit, made payable to SWRWD in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best base bid is in excess of 20% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost, which is $3,100,000.00. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project.
