Pursuant to requirements set forth by 18 CFR 5.3(d) (2), the following information must be made public in reference to the City of Hamilton, Ohio ("Licensee"), Pre-Application Document ("PAD"), Notice of Intent ("NOI") to file a license application, and request to use the Traditional Licensing Process ("TLP"), rather than FERC's Integrated Licensing Process ("ILP"), for relicensing the Hamilton Hydroelectric Project ("Project"), all of which were filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ("FERC" or "Commission") on June 26, 2026: A. Filing dates of the following documents with FERC NOI: June 26, 2026 Request to Use TLP: June 26, 2026 PAD: June 26, 2026 B. Summary of the Documents 1. Request to Use the TLP The Licensee has determined use of the TLP will not affect the timely issuance of a new license. The complexity of the resource issues for this Project is likely to be low, the level of anticipated controversy and disputes over studies is expected to be minimal, there is a reasonable amount of available information regarding resources associated with the Project, and the cost to use the TLP is significantly less than the cost to use FERC's ILP. 2. Notice of Intent The NOI filed on June 26, 2026, notifies FERC that the Licensee has the unequivocal intent to prepare an application for new license for the Project. 3. Pre-Application Document The PAD provides reasonably available engineering, operational, economic, and environmental information about the Project and Project area resources. Due diligence has been exercised to collect existing available information to identify and evaluate potential impacts to Project area resources from Project operation. C. Project Information 1. Type of Facility The existing Project to be relicensed, FERC Project No. 2724, includes a powerhouse containing two generating units with a total installed capacity of 1.94 megawatts (MW); a single-circuit, 150-foot-long, 13.2-kilovolt (kV) transmission line; two concrete diversion dams; a 1,300-acre-foot reservoir; a headgate structure; a power canal that is approximately 3 miles long and 50 feet wide; and appurtenant facilities. 3. Project Location The Project is located on the Great Miami River (river mile 40.7 36.4 above the confluence with the Ohio River) in Butler County, Ohio, in the City of Hamilton and in Fairfield Township. 4. Public Viewing of PAD Documents Copies of the PAD and NOI are available in electronic format on FERC's eLibrary and on the Licensee's relicensing website (https://www. hamilton-oh.gov/hamilton-hydro- licensing).
