The Board of Education of New Lebanon Local School District, New Lebanon, Montgomery County, Ohio is requesting proposals for REPLACING CLASSROOM VENTILATORS at Dixie Middle School. The facility is located at 200 S. Fuls Rd., New Lebanon, OH. The New Lebanon Local School District is accepting fixed bids for the replacement of 5 classroom ventilators, which will include procurement of the equipment and installation of the equipment within the heating/cooling system at Dixie Middle School. The ventilators must be prepared for connection to the building controls system, but the district will be responsible for the work and cost of connecting the units to the control system outside off this request for pricing. The district plans on having the project completed during the summer of 2026 and all work must be completed by September 1, 2026. This date may be adjusted depending on the lead times for acquiring the units. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to familiarize themselves with the facility and any or all abnormalities that may be present. Care shall be taken to prevent any damage to existing facilities and to ensure prompt completion to allow usage as needed. The bidder must also schedule around facility use schedules if necessary, beginning on August 15th, 2026. The selected company shall provide proof of insurance with liability coverage at a minimum of $1,000,000 and also proof of current workmen's compensation coverage for all employees and contract labor that may be on site. Scope of Work Dixie Middle School Ventilators (5) Unit Ventilator Replacements Demolition of the existing unit ventilators. Furnish and install new unit ventilators of the same capacity, and to fit in the existing space. Connect replacement ventilators to the existing heating/cooling system. o Includes mechanical and electrical work to complete this SOW. Includes startup of units o Locations- Rooms 211, 215, 219 Preparation of the unit to be connected to building controls Does not include connecting units to building controls (this work will be the responsibility of the district Suggestions for enhancing the performance, extending the life expectancy of the system, or general cost savings are expected. The district prefers that bidders have at least 5 years of successful business experience installing ventilators or similar equipment. The district is an entity operating under the Ohio Revised Code as a governmental unit and as such is exempt from all state and local taxes. The successful bidder shall be issued a purchase order for the full amount of the bid, and no changes to the amount will be allowed once agreed. Payment shall be made in full within 30 days following completion of the project and receipt of an invoice from the vendor. A performance bond will not be required of the successful bidder unless the bidder requires a deposit of funds prior to the completion of the project. Fuls Rd, New Lebanon OH 45345 at 2.01 p.m. and read and recorded by the Treasurer.
