The Miami Conservancy District LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT & NOTICE TO BIDDERS Bids will be received via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) until 2:00 PM local time, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 for Contract No. 2026-001C, Germantown Dam: Auxiliary Spillway Rehabilitation project in German Township, Montgomery County, Ohio. No paper bids will be accepted. This project includes mobilization, demolition of existing concrete grade control weirs, construction of new concrete revetment (side slopes), construction of new grade control weirs, installation of underdrain, minor regrading of auxiliary spillway, restoration of the site, and demobilization. Performance of all work incidental thereto in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty to the benefit of The Miami Conservancy District. The bidder has an option of the bid guaranty. The bid guaranty may be a bid bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid. The bid bond shall be secured by a guaranty, or a surety company licensed as surety by the Ohio Department of Insurance. The bid guaranty may also be a certified check, cashier's check, electronic bid bond or letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid drawn to the Treasurer of The Miami Conservancy District. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty as a guarantee that the bidder after such acceptance will furnish an approved surety bond for the faithful performance of the Contract. The lowest responsive and most responsible bidder who meets the requirements of ORC 153.54 will be accepted, except that the right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive any technical defects as the interests of MCD may require.
