VILLAGE OF CORWIN, OHIO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) The Village of Corwin will receive proposals for the High Street Drainage Improvement Project at the office of the Village Clerk, Wayne Township Building, 6050 N. Clarksville Road, Waynesville, Ohio, until September 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Proposals received after the stated deadline will not be considered. The project generally consists of excavating, repairing, and regrading the existing drainage ditch along the east side of High Street within the Village of Corwin. The purpose of the project is to restore the ditch and improve the conveyance of stormwater runoff. Additional details and specifications are included in the bid documents. Each contractor is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid and a contract bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each proposal must include the full name of the individual, company, or other party submitting the proposal and identify all persons and subcontractors having an interest in the proposal. All bidders must comply with applicable local, state, and federal tax laws, workers' compensation laws, prevailing wage requirements, OSHA requirements, and applicable Department of Labor regulations. The Village of Corwin reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and amend this notice as permitted by law. Proposals shall be submitted to the Village Clerk no later than the date and time specified in this notice. Each proposal shall be clearly identified as "Village of Corwin High Street Drainage Improvement Project" and include the bidder's full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
