ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VILLAGE OF SOUTH CHARLESTON 35 SOUTH CHILLICOTHE ST SOUTH CHARLESTON, OHIO 45368 Sealed BIDS will be received by Village of South Charleston for construction of the Elevated Storage Tank Repainting and Repair Project. The work consists of providing all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to remove old paint inside and outside of tank, repair steel surface deficiencies, repaint inside and outside surfaces and replace or upgrade inadequate existing items of the Village's 300,000 gallon tank, including the roof vent, safety climb device, and screen on overflow outlet. All workmanship and materials are to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, which may be examined at the following locations: Environmental Engineering Service 3575 Columbia Road Lebanon, Ohio 45036 (513) 934-1512 Sealed BIDS will be received for the construction of the Village of South Charleston Elevated Storage Tank Repair and Repainting Project at the Village of South Charleston, 35 South Chillicothe Street, South Charleston Ohio 45368 until 12:00 PM noon (local time) on the 4th day of February at which time all BIDS will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders shall accompany their BIDS with a Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the maximum amount bid or a Certified Check or Cashier's Check for 10% of the bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid date and in accordance with ORC 153.54. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements on Clinton County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. "DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.001 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES." (SEC. 153.011 (E).) The Village of South Charleston reserves the right to reject any and all bids, delete any portion or portions thereof or to waive any irregularities in the bidding.
