CITY OF FAIRFIELD LEGISLATION SUMMARY NO. 8-2026 Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on April 27, 2026. Res. 7-26 Impose temporary moratorium on the consideration and/or granting of any zoning, occupancy, building or other permits or applications relating to Motor Vehicle Fueling/Charging Facilities within the City of Fairfield and emergency. Res. 8-26 Object to renewal of liquor permit for JS Sizemore, LLC dba Cobblestone Tavern and emergency. Ord. 49-26 Authorize Building Superintendent to waive building permit fees related to projects undertaken as part of the Fairfield Helping Neighbors and/or Commercial Revitalization Grant Programs and emergency. Ord. 50-26 Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME for period April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2029 and emergency.
