CITY OF FAIRFIELD, OHIO NOTICE TO BIDDERS 2026 ROSS & WOODRIDGE ROUNDABOUT PROJECT Sealed bids will be received via the Bid Express website at www.bidexpress.com until 3:00 p.m. Local Time, Monday, February 2, 2026 for the furnishing of the project known as: "2026 Ross & Woodridge Roundabout Project" for the Public Works Department, then publicly opened and read aloud in Council Chambers at the Fairfield Municipal Building, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio. Each bidder is required to submit their bid via Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com using the electronic forms furnished by the City. Paper and fax copies as well as electronic copies submitted outside of the Bid Express website will not be accepted for bid submittal. Free registration with Bid Express will allow a bidder to review and print all project plans. An electronic signature or digital ID along with a per bid fee or monthly subscription will be required for bidders to submit an electronic bid. A hard copy of minimum specifications may be viewed at the City of Fairfield Public Works Department, 8870 North Gilmore Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014 (513-867-4200). Each bidder must furnish with its proposal, a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. A completed Non-Collusion Affidavit and Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes are also required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Butler County and the City of Fairfield, Ohio as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Prospective bidders may address inquiries to Ben Mann, Public Works Director, through the Bid Express website. All inquiries must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Bid prices must be firm for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening date.
