James "Jim" Joseph Lyon, whose last known address was 2913 ½ Clairemont Drive, San Diego, California 92117, and whose current place of residence and whereabouts are unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained, will take notice that on September 3, 2025, Andrew James Wilzbach, stepfather, filed his Petition for Adoption of James Louis Lyon Case No. 2025ADP00115 and Ava Rose Lyon Case No. 2025ADP00114, in the Probate Court, Montgomery County, Ohio, praying that he be permitted by order of the court, to adopt, as his own children, the child James Louis Lyon, a minor born at New Haven, Connecticut, and that the name of the child be changed to James Louis Wilzbach, and the child Ava Rose Lyon, a minor born at Saratoga Springs, New York, and that the name of the child be changed to Ava Rose Lyon, alleging among other things in said Petition that James "Jim" Joseph Lyon, the natural father, has failed without justifiable cause, to provide more than de minimis contact with the minor children or to provide for the maintenance and support of the minor children as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one (1) year preceding the filing of the Adoption Petition. "A final decree of adoption, if granted will relieve you of all parental rights and responsibilities, including the right to contact the minors, and except with respect to a spouse of the adoption petitioner and relatives of that spouse, terminate all legal relationships between the minors and you and the minors' other relatives, so that the minors thereafter is a stranger to you and the minors' former relatives for all purposes. If you wish to contest the adoption, you must file an objection to the petition within fourteen days after proof of service of notice of the filing of the petition and of the time and place of hearing is given to you. If you wish to contest the adoption, you must also appear at the hearing." A final decree of adoption may be entered if you fail to file an objection to the adoption petition or appear at the hearing.
