LEGAL AD AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS PROJECT NO. CDBG-24-09 SEALED BIDS will be received at the office of the Butler County Commissioners, Sixth Floor, Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio until 10:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:45 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the 2nd Floor Commission Chambers in the Government Services Center for furnishing the labor, materials, and equipment for the Village of New Miami Replacement of Water Valves, CDBG-24-09. This project is funded with Community Development Block Grant Funds and shall therefore follow Federal Labor Standards Provisions. General Contractors and Subcontractors performing work on this project shall be in good standing on the Ohio Department of Transportation's approved contractor listing for the type of work involved. A pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on October 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, 6th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Copies of the plans, specifications and proposal forms, together with any further information may be secured from the Butler County Department of Development, Community Development Division, located on the 6th floor of the Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, by depositing $25.00 for each set requested (plus postage if mailed). Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check upon a solvent bank for the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance properly secured by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract. Additional documentation to be accompanied with the proposal is provided in the bid document, and are required upon submittal of bid. Bids are to be sealed and labeled as "PROJECT #CDBG-24-09". All blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten, in both words and figures, and the foregoing Certification must be fully completed and executed when submitted. In case of discrepancies of written words and figures, the prices written in words shall govern. The Board of Butler County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any or all proposals, to accept the proposals valid for sixty (60) days from the bid opening.
