LEGAL NOTICE 2026-01 CITY OF MIAMISBURG COMMUNITY CENTER ROOFING PROJECT Bids will be received via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) until March 27 at 2:00 P.M. (deadline) for the Miamisburg Community Center Roof Project at which time bids will be opened and made available. The Miamisburg Community Center Roof Project will include removal of all existing roof materials on both the East and West ends of the building, including a small hip roof on the North side of the building, as well as a shingled portion of the South end of the building. Flat Roof scope includes securing all materials, tearing off all layers to the substrate, installing insulation and membrane materials, and installation of a 60mil Duro-last roofing system (or similar) mechanically attached on the wood deck areas and adhered on the concrete sections. Install new edge metals throughout. Shingled Roof scope includes securing and delivering of all materials, tear off a minimum of one layer of existing shingles and haul away, and installation of new underlayment, drip edge, flashings, and a new 30-year rated architectural shingle system Bids specifications, plans, and all questions/responses will be available only through the Bid Express website and bids will only be accepted via the Bid Express website. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. The owner will host optional site visit meeting on Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the Miamisburg Community Center for any bidders interested in visiting the site. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce The City of Miamisburg, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive any informalities or irregularities, and further, reserves the right to accept any bids or parts of bids which it deems to best serve the interest of the City of Miamisburg, Ohio.
