LEGAL NOTICE Of CITY OF HAMILTON, OHIO Hamilton Beltline Trail Phase 4, CONTRACT #26-16 Electronic bids will be received through Bid Express by the City of Hamilton, Ohio ("Owner"), until 2:00 pm, local time, August 28, 2026, at which time bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter at 345 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 for furnishing of all necessary permits, labor, material, and services necessary for: Contract #26-16 Hamilton Beltline Trail Phase 4 (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by Burgess & Niple, Inc. ("Design Professional"). Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). Any questions must be received by the Owner no later than 2:00 pm, local time, on Thursday August 20, 2026 in order to provide an addendum to all plan holders. In general, the improvements for which bids are requested will consist of the following: Install 123 LF pedestrian bridge over Two Mile Creek and 3,200 LF of 10-ft wide asphalt trail between Haldimand Ave and Eaton Ave. Install short segment of concrete trail, sidewalk, curb and curb ramps at intersection of Highland Ave & Armo Ave in order to connect trail to existing walks and roadways. All Bidders shall be prequalified by ODOT for the appropriate type of work. Prequalification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. Subcontractors are not subject to the prequalification requirement. The "prime" contractor must perform no less than thirty (30) percent of the total original contract price. The electronic bids can only be submitted through Bid Express and must be electronically endorsed by the Bidder. Contract documents are available through the Bid Express Website at: www.bidexpress.com. Registration with Bid Express is free and allows for the Bidder to review, download, and print all contract documents. A digital ID along with a per bid fee of $50.00 or a $60.00 monthly subscription will be required for the Bidder to submit an electronic bid. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
