LEGAL NOTICE OF CITY OF HAMILTON, OHIO South G ST Bridge Demolition Electronic bids will be received through Bid Express by the City of Hamilton, Ohio ("Owner"), until 2:00 pm, local time, May 8, 2026, at which time bids will be opened publicly and read immediately thereafter at 345 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 for furnishing of all necessary permits, labor, material, and services necessary for: BUT South G ST Bridge Demolition ,PID 119734, (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Contract Documents prepared by Prime AE (Design Professional"). Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). Any questions must be received by the Owner no later than 2:00 pm, local time, on Friday May 1, 2026, in order to provide an addendum to all plan holders. In general, the improvements for which bids are requested will consist of the following: Removal of existing G Street Bridge over CSX Railroad including ramp on Puthoff Street. Pavement/curb/walk replacement of the intersection of Puthoff Street and G Street with turnarounds. Water main and service replacement. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on site at the intersection of G ST & Puthoff ST on Monday April 20, 2026 at 10:30 am local time. All Bidders shall be prequalified by ODOT for the appropriate type of work. Prequalification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. For work types that ODOT does not prequalify, the LPA must still select a qualified contractor. Subcontractors are not subject to the prequalification requirement. The "prime" contractor must perform no less than thirty (30) percent of the total original contract price. The electronic bids can only be submitted through Bid Express and must be electronically endorsed by the Bidder.
