NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution passed on October 21, 2025 by the Board of Education of the Kettering City School District, Montgomery County and Greene County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the Primary/Special Election to be held on May 5th, 2026 at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: Shall bonds be issued by the Kettering City School District, counties of Montgomery and Greene, for the purpose of constructing, furnishing, and equipping a new middle school, with related site improvements and appurtenances thereto; renovating and improving Fairmont High School, and constructing, furnishing, and equipping a new academic wing in connection therewith; providing funding for elementary school buildings; improving, furnishing, and equipping existing facilities; and replacing existing equipment and constructing various permanent improvements school district-wide in the principal amount of $222,000,000, to be repaid annually over a maximum period of 37 years, and an annual levy of property taxes be made outside the ten-mill limitation, estimated by the county auditor to average over the repayment period of the bond issue 5.93 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $208 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds?
