NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that pursuant to an ordinance passed on July 21, 2026, by the Council of the City of Brookville, Montgomery County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the General Election to be held on November 3, 2026, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: The City of Brookville proposes amending the following Brookville City Charter Sections: Article V The Municipal Manager, Section 4.04 Reading Ordinances and Resolutions, Section 4.06 Content of Emergency Legislation, Section 4.07 Effective Date of Legislation, Section 4.11 Zoning Measures, Section 4.13 Codification of Ordinances and Resolutions, Section 4.14 Publication of Ordinances and Resolutions, Section 5.01 Appointment, Removal and Qualifications of the Municipal Manager, Section 5.02 Council-Manager Relations, Section 5.03 Powers, Duties and Functions of the Manager, Section 6.01 Department of Law, Section 6.02 Department of Finance and Section 6.03 Other Departments. Shall the proposed charter amendments, as reported by the charter commission of the City of Brookville be adopted? The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day.
