NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution passed on August 20, 2025, by the Dayton City Commission of Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the General Election to be held on November 4, 2025, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: Shall the following proposed ordinance be passed: Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Chapters 749 and 5705, authorizing a one (1.00) Mill property tax increase, which is an additional levy, to be used toward the building and operating of a City of Dayton run public hospital in West Dayton. The tax shall be levied upon the entire City of Dayton, located in both Montgomery County and Greene County, Ohio. The County Auditor estimates the levy will collect $2,039,754 annually at a rate not exceeding one (1.00) mill per $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $35 per $100,000 of the County Auditor's appraised value, for ten (10) years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027. This ballot question shall be presented to the entire City. The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day.
