NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the County of Butler, passed on the 21st day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Butler County for the purpose of providing and maintaining senior citizens services. Tax being a renewal of 1.3 mills and an increase of 0.7 mill for each $1 of taxable value, that the county auditor estimates will collect $20,209,690 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $50 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for a period of five 5 years.
