NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS TO ESTABLISH NEW MIAMI COUNTY TRANSFER STATION FEES The Board of Miami County Commissioners will hold three (3) Public Hearings on proposed changes to the fees charged at the Miami County Transfer Station and Recycling Center for solid waste disposal in compliance with Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code and in conformance with Section 343.08 and Section 7.16 of the Ohio Revised Code. Three Public Hearings will be held in the Commissioner's Hearing Room in the Miami County Safety Building, 201 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio on February 26, 2026 at 1:35 p.m., March 5, 2026 at 1:35 p.m., and March 12, 2026 at 1:35 p.m., at which times the Board will hear testimony on the proposed changes to the fees charged at the Miami County Transfer Station and Recycling Center for solid waste disposal. At the conclusion of the last hearing, the Board will establish rates and fees in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 343.08 (B) to be commencing April 1, 2026.
