Pleasant Township (including the Village of Catawba) Renewal Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Pleasant Township (including the Village of Catawba), passed on July 22, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Pleasant Township (including the Village of Catawba) for the purpose of providing ambulance or emergency medical services operated by a fire department or firefighting company that the county auditor estimates will collect $93,774.00 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $63 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Precincts affected: PLES 1 & 2 10-23,10-30/2026
