LEGAL AD AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS PROJECT NO. CDBG 25-08 Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Butler County Commissioners, Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, 6th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 until 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, and will be opened and read aloud at 10:45 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Commissioners' Chambers on the 2nd floor in the Butler County Government Services Center, in accordance with specifications under Butler County ITB No. Serve City Shelter Roof Replacement, CDBG 25-08. This project is funded with Community Development Block Grant Funds and shall therefore follow Federal Labor Standards Provisions. Copies of the plans, specifications and proposal forms, together with any further information may be secured from the Butler County Department of Development, Community Development Division, located on the 6th floor of the Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Specifications may be obtained by query at https://bids.bcohio.gov. To access the ITB packet on the Butler County Board of Commissioners website, please scroll down until the project is found: Serve City Shelter Roof Replacement, ITB No. CDBG-25-08. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check upon a solvent bank for the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance properly secured by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract. Bidders are required to complete and submit with bid ALL forms that are included with the packet. Bidders are required to use the forms furnished by the County when submitting their bid. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on May 5, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, 6th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. The right is reserved by the County, for any reason, to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders. Notwithstanding the County's sole discretion to reject or waive any or all Bids, causes for bid rejection may be assigned to any one or more listed in Method of Bidding. Bids are to be SEALED and delivered to the office of the Butler County Commissioners, and each bid shall bear on its face the name and address of the bidder and shall be plainly marked "Bid on ITB No. CDBG-25-08, Serve City Shelter Roof Replacement". Butler County will provide assistance to persons with disabilities, needing interpreters, or other auxiliary aids and services in order to participate in this bid opening.
